My artwork is anything but abstract! It reflects on my interest in the sea and my birthplace in the Shetland Islands. My preferred medium is oils, and I love to create dramatic seas and skies as backdrops to my seascapes.

Hi Jim, I like your work, Like me you have a great love of painting the sea and ships, And you are very good at it, I think theres something exiting about painting the sea, Perhaps because its always moving and changing colours, Well Jim from one Scot to another keep up the good work. James.
