Salwa Zeidan Gallery

Salwa Zeidan Gallery was first opened in Abu Dhabi in 1994 and reopened again in January 2009.

Salwa Zeidan Gallery is a contemporary art space that acts as a platform for the internationally recognized and Middle Eastern artists, and as an incubator for the emerging UAE talents as well as the greater Gulf region.

The gallery aims is to showcase paintings, sculptures, photography, installations and performance art, and also organizes workshops and poetry evenings.

The vision and mission of Salwa Zeidan Gallery In addition to nurturing local talent, is to present and make available works of art that reveal fresh creativity and the excellence to contain the sensibility and emotion that characterizes the finest art.

The gallery regularly curates independent and collaborative exhibitions with International galleries and curators, and seminal educational institutions such as Zayed University with its most notable projects the Abu Dhabi International Sculpture Symposium (ADISS) - a perfect example of the gallery's involvement in the development of the local contemporary art scene.
