I live in yorkshire and have painted for a number of years - primarily when the mood takes me, painting whatever I feel interested in at the time. I find painting therapeutic and a challenge. But most of all something to be enjoyed, if I'm not enjoying it I stop. I couldn't think of anything worse than being forced to paint when you're really not in the mood or not that interested. If one enjoys painting then surely the reward has already been received?.
