About Me

l'm a London-based artist but my heart is in the British countryside. My paintings are inspired by my love of the weather, light, landscape and sea. The tension in the air when a storm is about to come racing in, or the rain glittering against a deep and forbidding sky. My pictures are memories of places and times, my interpretattion of the feeling of a place and the joy of painting it. Painted mostly from memory or from the landscape itself, I work in a variety of mixed media on canvas or paper.
