I am a working artist over some 30 years. I have painted and exhibited in Scotland, England, Spain and the Gulf States of Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait. I attended Duncan Jordanstone College of Art, Scotland but learnt the most of my artistic knowledge from my late father, also a professional artist, Grezegor Lange. We painted together for a few years and I learned from his teachings and that of his teachers and their teachers. I studied and practised the skills of the old masters, was encouraged to experiment and to paint and paint. My father met my mother, Faith, at Art College in Scotland after the 2nd World War and therefore my staple was and is art. I have painted royalty, ships, figures, landscapes, townscapes, seascapes, experimental fantasies. Exhibited in many wonderful countries and met the most amazing people. I am strong advocate of peace everywhere. I am almost fanatical about diet being an important key to our happiness. I have one wife (also an artist), three children and nearly 4 grandchildren. I never learned to swim or drive, yet, but am willing to give both a good try! I have been strongly influenced by my experiences of living and working in the Gulf States; UAE, Oman, Bahrain which I continue to refelct in my work and my surroundings. I am presently planning a breif for a large project with the The Al-Maktoum Institute for Islam and Arabic Studies here in my home city of Dundee, embracing the ethos of Mulit-Culturaism. I continue to learn, experiment and teach art. I am delighted to talk to anyone about my art and art in general.
