About Me

Born in the Midlands in 1970, I have always been artistic for pleasure, and in 1993 started to take it seriously. Graduating from the University of Central England in Birmingham (BIAD)in 1998. Using bold colours, texture and layers of thin transparent paint washes which move and mix whilst drying, adding some of the chaos of nature. I aim to generate a feeling of the calm power of the natural world and deliberately keep detail to a minimum, as too much certainty detracts from the feel of the artwork.
