Shirley Rasmussens award-winning work has been exhibited in museums and national exhibitions throughout the United States including the prestigious American Watercolor Societys 116th and 117th Exhibition and their traveling show, National Watercolor Oklahoma Show and Art-USA. She is the recipient of the Edgar A. Whitney Award, American Watercolor Society, The First Place Award in the National Watercolor Oklahoma Show, and Past President Award in the Southern Watercolor Society. Most of my work involves the figure, but the main emphasis is on the abstract pattern of shape and value.
