I have been passionate about art ever since I can remember, when I was little I would draw everything. Art was always my favourite subject at school, I was always praised for the detail in my drawings. I never really got into painting until I started college, my fine art tutor was a real inspiration to me, he made me realise that being an artist is what I really want to do with my life. All my work is in oil paints, I love the slow drying times and prefer the rich colours and textures they give. I prefer to paint landscapes, I am terrible at figurative work! I am amazed by how much beauty there is in the world, I feel everyone is so busy, nobody has the time to actually sit back and take it all in, if we all did we would realise what an extroadinary planet we live on. I completed my college course in 2004, achieving 2 A-Levels. I was never interested in going to university as I just wanted to get into full time work. Ever since then I have been working full time at B&Q, while trying to make a living from my art. My website has been set up and running for nearly 3 years where I accept commissions and sell prints of my paintings, which I make myself. It is my short-term ambition to sell my prints at market stalls around my area and to eventually have my own full time stall in the high street in Poole, while selling commissions and building up a reputation.
