My name is Sallyanne Evans and I come from Staffordshire in the heart of England. I completed my BA(Hons) and MA in ceramic design for production,specialising in surface pattern design at Staffordshire University. Since finishing my studies I have worked as an in house designer for ceramic and greetings card companies ,before choosing to go freelance with more variety of briefs,all my work has been successfully accepted for production ranging from Tableware,Collectable Teapots,Everyday Mugs and Cards/Wrap, for companies such as Royal Doulton,JustMugs,Churchill China,Rayware,Hudson & Middleton and Marks &Spencers-Hallmark Cards. I also have more time to pursue my individual passion for creating my own paintings and gretings cards.  The work I have created is inspired by my travels,ideas taken from images scribbled in my sketchbook.  I work in my favourite medium ink,using layers of vibrant colours,my style is spontaneous and fun. My characters are all about humour,something that makes you smile and brings laughter. My art would make ideal gifts or just keepsakes.  My art I see is an accompaniment to your life alongside all other possessions which bring happiness.
