Works consist of a series of studies concentrating on the distorting of boundaries and creating a balance between the figure and the space surrounding it. The paintings leave something of the character to the imagination, allowing the viewer to interpret and complete the composition, lending an air of ambiguity to the series. Leaving aspects of previous elements of earlier ideas, compositions and sketches layered throughout the canvas combine to add depth and a sense of history.
