Born in Tamil Nadu, India, drawing was a passion for me from his early schooldays. Driven by this passion I completed a course in drawing from a reputed school in Chennai through correspondence. My wife's diplomatic career enabled me to visit and experience life in different countries. Iwas deeply impressed by the Dutch school of painting.

I took to painting in the year 1997 in Holland where I joined the Art School in Koorenhuis, Centre for Art and Culture, in The Hague. After completing the basic art course where I had fun learning all the mediums I shifted to watercolours and learnt the medium for a year. Since then I have been painting, as I moved on, in different countries.

Starting with Holland,my paintings capture landscapes as I continued on my journey through Zambia, Ukraine, India, USA, Cyprus and now Great Britain! Previous Exhibitions: Lusaka, Zambia (2002) and Kiev, Ukraine (2005),London (2009)

Artist's Statement: 'The freshness and immediacy of watercolours, their translucency and vibrancy always attracted me, Though difficult to master, watercolour kindles my passion and throws a challenge every time I approach the paper with paint.
