Mojdeh works only in the present, so that everything she does is alive with her spirit. She chooses to paint on perspex, a medium which doesnt allow for mistakes, and gives her the flexibility to use a wide palette, including acrylics, metal paints, gels, oils and silks and in some of her work, jewels are applied directly to the perspex. These are then backed with beautiful silk, of a colour that compliments and projects the subject matter for each painting.
