I am a professional artist specialising in maritime and aviation subjects. All my work is carefully researched as well as based around my barging experiences. For the aviation side of research I am happy to say that I visit Duxford museum regularly and other museums and collections and draw and paint whilst there. Sometimes I have the chance to crew on these lovely old Thames barges namely Marjorie and another called Edme.  I am a Committee Member for the Society of Sailing Barge Research (SSBR), Founder Member of the Society of Amateur Artists (SAA), Member of the Holland Art Society, an Artist Friend of the Guild of Aviation Artists (G Av A) and in the Royal Society of Maritime Artists.

I give talks on barges as well as painting demonstrations . Sometimes I do both at the same time!
