Modern semi abstract paintings combining intense colour and bold pattern with simple forms.  My artwork explores order and chance, symbolism and geometry.  I get inspiration from the Hampshire rural and urban environment.   These original acrylic paintings on deep edge box canvas are painted around the edges, ready to hang and there is no need to frame.  The canvases incorporate fluorescent paint and adopt a completely different character in ultra violet light.  

Each painting is signed MARK JONES on bottom right hand corner with details on the back of title, date and medium used. A certificate of authenticity is issued with each painting.   These images are a small selection of my work and I will send a sample CD of my artwork on request, these paintings are also available as limited edition giclee prints, prices on request.   Commissions are welcome.
