I began as a traditionally trained artist many years ago. An accident took the use of my arms, which was both difficult and a blessing in disguise. I had the time to investigate Kaleidoscopes and Stained Glass and later turned this fascination into a form of painting that I enjoy today. And Yes, I now have the use of my arms!
Acrylic is my medium and water soluble oils when needed. I paint the imaginary based on the patterns that might be created by a three or four mirrored Kaleidoscope with a little stained glass imagery tossed in for good measure. I play a game of counterchange with all of the elements of art to arrive at a composition pleasing and fascinating to my fancy.
Many of my contemporaries call me a colorist. Perhaps that is due to the fact that I am colorblind and just do not know any better? I love what I do with a passion, hopefully it shows.
