South African-born, now resident in the UK, I have followed a career in media and television journalism, and am an exhibited artist. The energy of nature, of the world around me, and the light, textures, colours and compositions I portray in my photographs and paintings all reflect and reveal parts of a whole, a slice of life, and a moment captured. Creative expression is a way of life that is an absolute part of my most intimate experiences, and their influences run deep. What you see today comes from what I have collectively lived, seen, experienced, felt, and gathered in to become all that has shaped me. My roots lie in Africa, and my influences are global, with a view on universal observation. I have many more paintings and photographs, many paintings are framed - and subjects range from African scenes, people and landscapes, to Italy, Provence, New Zealand amongst others.
