I would describe my paintings as vibrant, full of life and inspired by the colours and beauty of the world around us.

Art has always been a part of my life. I studied it both at school and at college but would describe myself as being self-taught. I love to paint in a contemporary style, with inspirational subjects being landscapes, skies and anything else natural. I like to experiment with colour and texture to create vibrant and unique art. I specialise in large scale, acrylic pieces and often work from photographs I have taken whilst on my travels.

In particular, I have been inspired by my visits to the Maldives – I try to capture a similar peace and calmness in my works.

Above all else, I love to paint and lose myself in the settings I portray – there is nothing more relaxing than that!
