Born in Piancastagnaio, in the area of Siena. In order to continue his studies. He moved first in Lucca, then to Arezzo and finally in 1967 to Florence, where he settled definitively. He has deepen his art in Florence where he specifically studied and analised the most important works of the Renaissance. During his years of study in Florence, the drive to be a full working artist was stimulated by his participating in various exhibitions where he is confirmed with prizes and reviews. In 1989, he gave up his job at the bank and, over the years he has continued, and continues still, to explore and experiment with new artistic languages and techniques over painting and sculpture. “He who sees only realty will never understand truth. The triangle of ‘nostalgia’, “Faith, Love and Hope”, is only seen by the soul, and to try to understand it with reason is impossible”. Exhibitions since 1971 in Italy and United States. His works are represented in many private collections in Italy and North America.
