I was born in Sicily . I started painting as early as a young boy; once I begain working, I dedicated all my spare time to painting.

I participated in solo and collaborative exhibitions, receiving many awards and honors.

For the past four years I have devoted myself to painting full time.

I consider painting an inaliable way to express my inner feelings.

I have always loved the great artists of the past, but I have always strived to develop a personal mode of graphical expression.

The search for new techniques and expressive modalities is in lockstep with the evolution and maturation of my sensibility.

I do not believe that the artist should "suggest" what he intends to communicate through his paintings, or which path took him to which end.

I am rather for a free and subjective interpretation: each interprets the images by projecting against their inner self, their life, in a fashion completely independent of the artist’s vision.

Images are like icons sedimented through the experience and the culture in our mind. Vision is objective; interpretation, subjective.
