Toni okujeni earned his higher national diplomain painting from the school of Art and Design , Auchi polytechnic Auchi in1973 and worked with the Afrjcan Guardian Magazine as illustrator before embarking on full-time studio practice. He had his early inspiration from the works of Vincent Van Gogh and his works are among those with the richest pallette from the school. His favourite subjects are crowded market scenes and rooftops with lots of movements done in impastos of the pallette knife as a technique and style of painting which has mad his work acceptable to a wide range of audience. he has participated in several solo and group shows including Accenture Nigeria, Asilah forum foudation Morocco, Gallery Yacine Dakar and Dak art Chicago USA. His works are in many private and public collections
