Portuguese, born in Africa (1956), I kept the contact with Portugal where I studied and later visited frequently until 1989 when I left Rep. do Congo, where I lived. Resident in Ireland and in Belgium, I have visited many countries as Brazil, USA, India, Thailand, New Caledonia, among others. Back to Portugal few years ago, I live in Silves where I also work restoring woods and canvas paintings. Besides my own painting the approach to the collages works, happens by discovering and transforming materials which have their real characteristics
