Baozhen was born in 1960 in Qingdao City, China and was only eight when he won First Prize by the Qingdao Art Association.After graduating from Beijing Normal University in Department of Fine Art, Baozhen specialized in watercolor and oil paintings and is now one of the 200 most famous painters in China. He is very well-known across Asia, particularly in East and South-East Asia. His works have been exhibited comprehensively overseas as well as in national-wide prestigious exhibitions in China and collected by collectors and museums in China, Hongkong, Taiwan, USA, Canada, Malaysia, and Japan. Domestic and overseas magazines and newspapers have also published many critiques on his unique and distinct style and praised him as an outstanding contemporary artists in China.
