I would define my art vocation within the bracket of, a type of ‘Holistic Ecological art’ where by an artist seeks to explore, address and heal. I aim to create artwork that engages the general public in community issues creates awareness of regional and global crises and protects fragile ecologies by encouraging a change of behaviour. My primary concern is that ‘art’ has an agenda; it is activist and can consequently make a difference.

In order to address this concern, I seek to bridge community and collaborate with non-artist partners, for the participation and contribution of the public. I ask for recognition of the audience as creator, for their physical presence, to reestablish a connection with nature as a way to heal the alienation caused by living in a consumerist society.

That which society has ‘constructed’ can also be ‘de-constructed’, and it begins with our own selves. I believe it is time for us to create a global culture based on truth, diversity and acceptance. Where the arts, sciences and spiritualities are one in reinforcing a greater understanding of, concern for and responsibility to a sustainable life on earth, for all, regardless of ability, age, race, gender or social economic or political group.
