Galleries-online is dedicated to developing a free online community to help artists promote
their work and facilitate the development of relationships between individuals and organizations that have an interest in the visual arts.
Membership is free and open to anyone who appreciates art including artists, art galleries, artist groups, students, art colleges and art enthusiasts.
Whatever your relationship to the arts there are a wide range of features that can help you
to become an active (or if you wish passive!) part of this growing
online community.
As a member you can:
- Create online art galleries
- Publish blogs and articles
- Promote your events
- Sell your artwork
- Network with other members
- Create and send out e-newsletters
Other features can enhance your presence online such as uploads of audio commentary
of your work which visitors can listen to while browsing through your galleries.
You can go further and visually engage your visitors by adding a YouTube video of your exhibitions.
Based on the theme of your choice, you can set up groups that you can moderate and
other guest members can contribute work too.
You don’t have to be an artist to set up a profile as we encourage anyone
who appreciates art
to take an active part in the community. Art lovers can
publish blogs, provide feedback to artists
about their work and set up email
alerts for when their favorite artists update their galleries.
