New art group

About this Group

This is for artist's to submit article's on skill's, learned lesson's, way's to use brushes, paint, canvases and other types of media. I hope artist member's who join will submit blogg's with helpful hint's, tip's and recent discoveries on how to's and what to look out for aswell as what not to do aswell as what work's and what doesent work. i.e: Mixing acrylic paint with oil paint work's better when semi dry or when the canvas is in the upright position or in the level position? I want to see member's bringing new and exciting idea's along with our help and guidance i think we all can become a self help group dependant on ourselves in the long run, but with the kind helpful, supportive, innitiative making step's along the way to help get us to where we want to be. I am willing to start the group and direct the group and in time just let all our member's direct us all. I only have limited knowledge so my intention's are clear? To become more able and understanding with the media i work with, and to share what i do know and learn from other like minded people. This will not be a forum to air grievance's or anything of the like. Hopefuly i would like to have member's contributing artwork to the group that we can donate to hospital's, hospice's, charity's and organisation's that will and could benifit from us giving inspiration to the public, and yes! I would like for the group to be a leading group in the field of helping each other to be the best that any one person can be! As yet, i do-not know how much time i can devote to this group as i am not working in a full time job or a part time job, i think i can give this group more time than is probobaly the norm.

We will see? Like i say, we are a self help group and so we can just help ourselves with what we need. i.e: Blogg's and getting advice and publishing event's and storie's/tip's/guidance/help.

I THINK PEOPLE ON HERE JUST WANT TO SELL THEIR ARTWORK AND DON'T WANT TO NETWORK, EVEN THOUGH THAT IS WHAT IT IS? I'M SADDENED BY THIS LACK OF ENTHUSIASM. :-( TIM LEWIS
