A copy of John Virtue's 'Landscape No. 706' showing 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) across the River Thames. I have studied Virtue's work on and off for a few years now. He is one of my favourite artists and is a big inspiration, especially in my landscape work (see Lake At Eastington). In future, when time permits, I hope to produce a number of works in a similar style. Painted edges so no frame required and wired ready to hang. |
