I used an image of Pina Bausch´s dance-theatre performance and I used some words from "Anna Karenina" and also some poetry of Anna Akhmatova: "blood smells only of blood". I wanted to give a timeless sense to the figures, through black and white. Red is used to distinguish the blood, life and passion. |
