I have drawn and painted since i was seven years old.That and books were the faithful companions of a lonely childhood.After a stint at Art College,i went to Triveni Kala Sangam in Delhi.Im not really quite sure what to call my Work?yes,its figurative sometimes and abstract at others....though a really clever person would see that its really the same thing..Is it semi spiritual or a comment on that old fashioned preoccupation "existential angst".Whatever....i prefer to call it contemporary or Art of this century. .While i have worked in oils,and done long years in pen and ink....my favourite is mixed media.What i work in today..Using board and paper...i intend to put more of my work in my gallery.......at the moment there are five .I am of National level.in India ..And have shown several times at the National Lalit Kala Exhibition,At the All India Drawing Exhibition held in Chandigarh every year And,of course,at commercial galleries .I hope you like my Work.........leela tyagi.
