Meghan Catherine Simon

Meghan Catherine Simon grew up in the suburbs of chicago, Illinois. At the age of 14, she moved to the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; There she began studying the surrounding landscape and became heavily involved in her highschools arts and crafts program - including several independent studies and art assistantships. Meghan graduated from highschool in 1994. Ms. Simon attended Kutztown University (suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) in the fall of 1995 and began an intense study of art history and classical Studio art. She obtained her B.F.A in the spring of 2000 with a double major in drawing and painting. Since graduation, Meghan has participated in several juried shows and solo/group exhibitions, in both Pennsylvania and Maine. She has done countless commissions and has won several awards. Meghan currently resides in Seattle, Washington where she continues to pursue her career in art.
